Travel by bullet train from Tokyo to Odawara and then private coach to Hakone and Lake Ashi. Visit Hakone Shrine this afternoon

Cruise across Lake Ashi to Togendia, followed by the Hakone Ropeway to Sounzan and Hakone Tozan Cable Car to Gora. After lunch you will transferred to Odawara for your train journey to Kyoto

Due to its exceptional historic value, Kyoto was dropped from the list of target cities for the atomic bomb and escaped destruction during World War II. Countless temples, shrines and other historically priceless structures survive in the city and visits are included to some of these today, including Nijo Castle and the Golden Pavilion
